Two days before I was born, The Who recorded My Generation at IBC Studios in London. Having grown up in communist Czechoslovakia, their music was inaccessible to me for a long long time; western "capitalist/imperialist" music leaked through the iron curtain with big difficulty. It all started for me in 1980 when I first heard the song from "Stardust" soundtrack album my friend brought from Italy. And by coincidence, for the first time, I saw a photograph of the group in Musik Parade magazine from 1966 that my uncle gave me. I got hooked. And I've been their fan since then. I have collected their music - official releases, ROIO and bootlegs - for years and seen them live various times. During that time, I grew out of mere fan's shoes and got more interested in the facts and data about their songs. And now I would like to share those. I hope you find them interesting and useful.
